Girls and Robotics

Bot Camp strives to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to girls. Women have traditionally been under-represented in these fields, often due to being discouraged, intimidated or marginalized. Bot Camp is committed to providing an environment where girls are free and empowered to discover the world of robotics in a safe and conducive atmosphere. Our instructors are charged with ensuring that no participant is negatively impacted just because she is a girl. We will strive to ensure that female Bot Camp participants will get every chance to show they can be as good, if not better than the boys. Our female robotics instructors are phenomenal role-models and are living examples of successful young women who have already seen high levels of success in STEM fields.
